Cooking fed my creative expression for many years. While I always dabbled in other expressions, it wasn’t until the last decade that I began to more actively pursue other endeavors. Interactive art for me, is laying a foundation that is built on by participants. Starting a conversation in other mediums about communities, how we interact with each other and the reality we perceive about ourselves and others.

I  am currently the Production Manager for Capn Nemo’s Flaming Carnival. We build amazing interactive games and displays, for maker faires, festivals and events. We draw people into becoming part of our performance. Every attendee has the opportunity to push a button, play a game and make magic with a loud whoosh of fire.

For over 3 years I have facilitated the building of repurposed material sculptures for both galleries and festivals. These creations are designed to keep evolving as people add their words, ideas and feelings. Each one is different and is meant to inspire different conversations and reactions.
